Happy Sunday funday! I decided instead of taking a whole day of studying, I’m going to just take a deep breath today and relax 🙂 Stressing about something that is still a month away isn’t going to get me anywhere fast. So let’s all say it together…..ahhhhhhh.
Okay, time to share a yummy meal! My hubby is the best at blueberry pancakes, like literally the best. I can’t do pancakes for the life of me, so Sunday mornings he starts the day right with these babies! The recipe is really easy and simple… pancake mix with frozen blueberries, fresh ground cinnamon, and pure maple syrup! Nom Nom! I must admit though, I find pancakes to not be very filling for me, so I decided to add a nice healthy fat in the form of walnuts this morning to mix it up and delightfully keep me full!
Adding a handful of nuts to any meal is an awesome idea! They are full of healthy fats (polyunsaturated, omega 3’s) and minerals (copper, magnesium) and fiber, making them great for heart health and overall body health! I can’t stress how important it is to get a healthy amount of nuts and seeds into your every day diet! Unfortunately you don’t want to eat too much, because the calories can really add up, but at least a handful of a variety of nuts and seeds every day can be a great addition to your daily routine 🙂
So cheers to awesome nutrition in littlest forms, and cheers to a happy and healthy Sunday funday and week ahead!
